Prop 16 is an attempt by PG&E Corporation to take over the California govt.
by preventing citizens from using Solar power, or selling Solar power to PG&E.
It would prevent citizens from being able to pass local law to use Solar power.
Prop 16 would allow PG&E to block any local group from selling Solar power back to PG&E.
Prop 16 in Undemocratic.
Prop 16 imposes a 66% votes to pass any new laws.
If you have been in any group, you know how impossible it is to even get a 51% approval to pass a simple agreement.
Now PG&E wants to require a vote of 66% before any new law to install Solar power in any county can be passed.
June 2010, Vote NO, NO, NO on 16. It is a sick law.
Likewise, Prop 14 is a fascist attempt to ban the Green Party & Peace & Freedom Party from the ballot.
Vote “NO” on Prop 14, to develop democracy.
Election June 2010.
PG&E is using rate payers $$$ money to lie to rate payers.
Ripping you & me off for $ millions, by spending our money to destroy Marin’s efforts to use Solar power to stop PG&E from burning dirty COAL,
which is dumping tons of mercury into the air. Vote NO on Prop 16.

This is a 75 cu ft Solar over that took about 5 days to build. Every connection is sealed with silicone. The maximum air temp measured with all the mirrors in place reaches 221 F with 70 F outdoor temperature.
We have a bit more work to do as 2 collection panels are wood and cannot handle the heat of the mirrors. The floor is plywood an is not affected. Without the mirrors the maximum temp achieved is 201 F.
Raising 75 cu ft is a task. This oven gains about 3 F every minute up to 150 F when exposed to sunlight with no mirrors. After that it increases 1F every minute. Woods ignition temperature is higher than what we will be needing so the frame works well and is an excellent insulator.

How home solar panels work — a video from BP
This is a video of the Passive Solar Heating System in use at http://www.envirosponsible.com in Whitby, Ontario, Canada.
It provides a great deal of heat, and the installer, Chris, will be making it more effecient by adding a second computer fan to push the warm air at the top, painting the inside better and taping the duct work. Also, the duct work will be directed into the office where the door can be closed and used in a smaller air mass.
This kind of heater is ideal for urban survival and bugging in, since it requires no power input and is cheap and easy to make. It’s not just for strawbale, cob, cabins, cottages, earth ships or businesses. They can be installed on a home, and they look great when done right. Ragnar Benson would be proud.
